BeeBills ascends Green Mountain – The road to a greener invoice system
The world is changing around us. It is now more important than ever for companies to think green. BeeBills strive to be a part of the solution and not the problem and have now moved our servers to Norwegian data centre provider Green Mountain. Built in a former NATO facility in Norway, Green Mountain is a data centre which offers 100% renewable power and free cooling 365 days a year.
If you are a user of the BeeBills system you may have noticed better functionality in the past couple of weeks. The site is loading a lot faster and there are no bugs related to server issues anymore. This is in correlation to our switch to Green Mountain. We are definitely sure that this is not only a step in the right direction for BeeBills as a green alternative for invoicing, but also for the good of the system and users day to day operations.
“Many enterprises all over the world have signed up to deliver on commitments in science based targets, or followed large enterprises like Facebook, Oath, Autodesk and more in delivering on the “Future of Internet Power” principles. Green Mountain was the first European co-location provider to sign these principles, and delivering on these principles is paramount to what we do in Green Mountain. We are actually one of the very few datacentres who are and can deliver our services 100 % carbon neutral.”

Although this is only a small step in the right direction; we will, moving forward pledge to make BeeBills as green as we can. We hope that you will not only appreciate but also help us on this endeavor. We hope that you will now enjoy BeeBills with more ease and that we have shed, if only a little more light on the Green Mountain company and their work.
