Green Mountain skal bygge datasenter på ny tomt i Enebakk

Datasenterselskapet Green Mountain har kjøpt en 53 000 m2 stor tomt i tilknytning sitt DC3-Oslo anlegg i Enebakk. Planen er å utvide det nåværende anlegget med et nytt 13,5 MW samlokaliseringsdatasenter.

Only 9 months after the opening of the DC3-Oslo data center, the site expands with an additional 4MW building. This second building is a built-to-suit project for a large international cloud provider and was delivered ahead of schedule despite the challenges posed by Covid-19.

Green Mountain Data Centers to be acquired by Azrieli Group Ltd.

Smedvig, the majority owner of Green Mountain, has agreed to sell the company to Azrieli Group Ltd., an Israeli publicly traded real estate investment and development company on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. NO-UK fiber cable installation operations commenced

Installation of the 700-kilometer-long submarine fiber cable started at Green Mountain’s data center today. This new cable route connects the west coast of Norway with Newcastle and will significantly increase data capacity between Norway, the UK, and the rest of the world.
