Green Mountain, one of the world’s greenest operators of high security, robust wholesale colocation data centres, has been shortlisted for three awards at the upcoming DCS Awards. The DCS awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers operating in data centre arena.
Norway’s market leading data centre provider Green Mountain have seen tremendous growth through 2018, and have now signed an agreement to expand their footprint at DC2 Telemark – Rjukan.
Green Mountain’s €31.5M investment will increase data centre capacity by 35MW across two sites in Stavanger and Telemark. Integrated solution includes Schneider Electric Prefabricated Data Centre Power and Cooling modules with LV & MV switchgear. Schneider Electric picked to ensure 6-month deployment deadline is achieved.

The Norwegian Ministry announced their National Data Center Strategy in February 2018. The strategy highlights 6 areas where they will support the growth of the Norwegian data center industry.
